Shipping Policy

Processing Time
All of my oil portrait commissions are created by hand with great care and attention to detail. I typically require 2 to 4 weeks to complete your portrait before shipping it out to you. This will be confirmed beforehand
Once your portrait is finished, I’ll send you a photo of the completed piece for your approval before I prepare it for shipping. If you need your painting completed by a specific deadline (such as for a gift or event), please let me know before placing your order. I’m happy to accommodate where possible.
Shipping Methods & Costs
All portraits are shipped via tracked and insured services through trusted couriers such as Royal Mail or DHL depending on your location and the size of the painting.
- United Kingdom: Free shipping for paintings smaller than 16 inches. Large paintings may incur a shipping fee depending on the size.
- International: Varies depending on your location and the size of the painting.
If you’re ordering from outside the UK, your country may charge import duties, VAT, handling fees, or other customs-related costs when your painting arrives. These charges are not included in the price of the artwork or the shipping fee and are the buyer’s responsibility. Customs policies vary by country, so I recommend checking with your local customs office if you’re unsure what charges may apply.
Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times after dispatch are:
- United Kingdom: 2–5 business days
- International (Europe): 5–10 business days
- International (excluding Europe): 7–21 business days
Please keep in mind that these times are estimates and delivery may be affected by customs procedures, courier delays, or seasonal demand.
Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments
Every order is shipped with tracking and includes insurance for peace of mind. If your painting is lost, significantly delayed, or arrives damaged:
- Contact me within 48 hours of delivery (or expected delivery)
- If damaged, please include clear photos of the packaging and artwork
- I’ll work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
Please note that I cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the courier, customs, incorrect shipping address or events beyond my control, however I’ll always do my best to support you throughout the process.
